Rental Policies & Terms

At WT Rental, our goal is to provide a premium motorcycle and 3-wheeler rental experience while ensuring the safety of our riders, protection of our vehicles, and an unforgettable adventure. All renters agree to follow the policies and responsibilities outlined below.

Rider Requirements

All renters and additional riders must:

  • Be at least 19 years of age.
  • Hold a valid Class 6 Motorcycle Licence or equivalent.
  • Provide valid government-issued identification.
  • Provide a valid major credit card.
  • Complete and sign the WT Rental Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver.
  • Successfully complete the required pre-ride orientation.

WT Rental reserves the right to refuse a rental if a rider demonstrates insufficient experience, unsafe riding behaviour, or inability to safely operate the vehicle.

A refundable pre-authorized security deposit of $1,500 CAD is required at pickup.

The security deposit will be released after:

  • The vehicle has been returned.
  • The vehicle and equipment have been inspected.
  • No outstanding charges, damages, violations, or fees remain.

Security deposits must be secured using a major credit card.

Cash and debit cards are not accepted for security deposits.

Every rental includes a detailed vehicle inspection before departure and upon return.

WT Rental may take photos and/or videos before and after each rental to document vehicle and equipment condition.

Renters are responsible for returning the vehicle and all equipment in the same condition received, excluding normal wear and tear.

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of premium fuel and must be returned with a full tank.

Vehicles returned without a full tank will be charged:

  • The cost of premium fuel required to refill the tank.
  • A $50 CAD refuelling service fee.

Each rental includes:

300 kilometres per rental day

Additional mileage is charged at:

$0.20 per kilometre

Safety is our top priority. All renters must:

  • Ride responsibly and within their experience level.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Never operate the vehicle while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or any substance affecting ability.
  • Always secure the vehicle when unattended.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Racing
  • Burnouts
  • Drifting
  • Wheelies
  • Stunt riding
  • Reckless operation

Unsafe operation may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund and may result in additional charges.

WT Rental vehicles may be operated throughout Canada and the United States unless otherwise approved.

Permitted riding areas include:

  • Public paved roads.
  • Well-maintained gravel roads.

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Off-road trails
  • Mud riding
  • Sand dunes
  • Unmaintained logging roads
  • Racetracks
  • Closed courses
  • Racing activities
  • Stunt riding

Any prohibited use may result in additional charges and forfeiture of the security deposit.

The renter is responsible for the vehicle and all rented equipment during the rental period.

This includes responsibility for:

  • Vehicle damage
  • Tires and wheels
  • Windscreens
  • Mirrors
  • Keys
  • Bluetooth helmets
  • Riding jackets and pants
  • Waterproof luggage
  • GPS accessories
  • Missing or damaged equipment

Damage caused by misuse, negligence, abuse, unauthorized operation, or prohibited riding activities will be charged to the renter.

If an accident occurs:

  1. Ensure everyone involved is safe.
  2. Contact emergency services if required.
  3. Notify WT Rental immediately.
  4. Obtain photos and information from all involved parties.
  5. Do not admit fault or make liability statements.

We understand plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while allowing us to manage vehicle availability.

More Than 7 Days Before Pickup

  • Receive a full refund of rental payment.

Between 72 Hours and 7 Days Before Pickup

  • Receive a WT Rental booking credit equal to the amount paid.
  • Booking credit is valid for 12 months from the original rental date.
  • Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.

Less Than 72 Hours Before Pickup

  • Rental payments are non-refundable.

No-Show

Failure to arrive for your scheduled rental without prior notice will result in forfeiture of all rental payments.

If WT Rental is unable to fulfill your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will receive either:

  • A full refund, or
  • The option to reschedule at no additional charge.

Need to modify your reservation? We will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • Changes are subject to vehicle availability.
  • Requests should be made as early as possible.
  • Changes within 48 hours of pickup cannot be guaranteed.
  • Additional rental costs must be paid before the rental begins.
  • If the revised booking value is lower, the difference will be issued as WT Rental credit valid for 12 months.

Late Pickup

If you are running late, please contact WT Rental as soon as possible.

Reservations will be held until the end of the scheduled pickup day unless prior arrangements have been made.

Failure to arrive without notice may be treated as a No-Show.

Early Returns

No refunds or credits will be issued for vehicles returned before the scheduled rental end date.

The renter accepts full responsibility for the vehicle from the time it is released by WT Rental until it has been returned, inspected, and accepted.

The renter is responsible for all costs related to the operation and use of the rental vehicle, including:

  • Speeding tickets
  • Parking tickets
  • Red light camera violations
  • Photo radar violations
  • Toll roads and bridge fees
  • Ferry charges
  • Traffic violations
  • Towing and recovery charges
  • Vehicle impoundment fees
  • Storage fees
  • Administrative processing fees
  • Fuel and refueling charges
  • Excessive cleaning fees
  • Smoke or odour removal fees
  • Lost or damaged keys
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged equipment
  • Tire repairs or replacement caused by punctures, hazards, or negligence
  • Unauthorized drivers or unauthorized vehicle use
  • Insurance deductibles where applicable

Flat tires are considered a renter responsibility as they typically occur from road hazards encountered during the rental period.

If a flat tire occurs:

  • Safely pull over immediately.
  • Do not continue riding on a flat tire.
  • Contact WT Rental as soon as possible.

WT Rental will assist with arranging roadside assistance or directing the renter to the nearest authorized repair facility whenever possible.

The renter is responsible for:

  • Tire repair or replacement costs.
  • Mounting and balancing.
  • Installation costs.
  • Towing expenses if required.
  • Additional damage caused by continuing to operate the vehicle with a flat tire.

Temporary tire repair kits are intended only to safely reach a repair facility and are not considered a permanent repair.

Damage to wheels, rims, TPMS sensors, suspension components, or other vehicle parts caused by improper operation remains the responsibility of the renter.

If a mechanical issue occurs that is not caused by misuse, negligence, abuse, or an accident, WT Rental will make reasonable efforts to assist by coordinating roadside assistance or repairs.

Renters must immediately notify WT Rental if:

  • Warning lights appear.
  • Unusual noises occur.
  • The vehicle becomes unsafe to operate.

Repairs performed without prior approval from WT Rental may not be reimbursed.

Mechanical failures caused by improper operation, incorrect fuel, racing, stunt riding, off-road use, abuse, or negligence are the responsibility of the renter.

By renting a vehicle from WT Rental, the renter authorizes WT Rental to charge the provided payment method for any outstanding amounts, including:

  • Damage charges
  • Insurance deductibles
  • Traffic violations
  • Tolls
  • Towing
  • Impoundment fees
  • Storage charges
  • Cleaning fees
  • Fuel charges
  • Replacement equipment
  • Administrative fees
  • Roadside assistance costs resulting from renter-caused incidents

Any tickets, tolls, penalties, or charges received after the rental period relating to the renter’s use of the vehicle remain the renter’s responsibility.

Failure to pay outstanding amounts may result in collection proceedings and additional costs permitted by law.

Vehicles must be returned:

  • On time.
  • Clean and in good condition.
  • With a full tank of premium fuel.
  • With all keys.
  • With all rented equipment.
  • Free from excessive dirt, smoke, odours, or damage.

Additional cleaning, repair, replacement, fuel, or late fees may apply.

The renter is responsible for replacement costs of lost, stolen, or damaged vehicle keys, storage accessories, locks, mounting hardware, and rental equipment.

Applicable charges may be deducted from the security deposit or billed separately if costs exceed the deposit amount.
